So I've decided to write SOMETHING in this journal because that's what it's for, right? Let me think... what should I write about?

Ok first things first, as of a few days ago, I'm officially a year older (and wiser??). That's hard to believe. My birthday was fairly quiet; I had a few good friends around to mine and we partied, took some photos that I know I'll be ashamed of and ate so much candy and chocolate that I'm surprised my teeth haven't fallen out yet..

As of writing fanfiction, you can definitely expect short pieces from me but for my long, chaptered fics that I have planned, it may take longer. I actually much prefer writing shorter pieces because it's like you can put so much emotion and energy into something so small so that the impact is bigger. With long, chaptered stories, you're constantly trying to keep the reader entertained and that's hard.
So it will be one-shots for a while and then we'll see how things go from there
